Malaysia has been witnessing remarkable achievements in the realms of digital banking, financial inclusion and Islamic finance. Recently, the capital city became home to Alibaba’s highly anticipated digital hub with the founder, Jack Ma, praising Malaysia’s ‘strength, tenacity and speed in implementing digital projects.’ The region’s top emerging economy is also seeing a flourishing start-ups environment backed by regulatory push and a strong financial ecosystem.
We are pleased to announce The Malaysia Innovation Tour 2018. This is a three-day programme for senior executives in financial institutions to experience the latest trends and ideas that will shape the future of their industry. We will be visiting organizations such as NEM Blockchain, CIMB, Maybank and Google and engage in dialogues with their key people who are driving the technological innovations in their organizations. We will also meet Chin Wei Min, Executive Director from Securities Commission Malaysia who will share us with the regulatory aspects of the ecosystem.
The tour includes access to The Asian Banker’s Excellence in Digital Finance Convention on 22nd March. Participants will enjoy full access to the event where they get to engage in dialogues with heads of retail and hear case studies from this year’s award winning institutions. Delegate seats for the tour are limited to 30 participants to guarantee the interactive format.
