André Thibeault is professor of banking at Belgium’s Vlerick Business School. He was formerly chair of the finance department at Nyenrode Business University and director of the finance and insurance department of Laval University. He developed several well-known banking and insurance simulations, used by such organizations as the Institute of Canadian Bankers and the Belgian Bankers Association.
Gordian Gaeta has advised and served many of the leading financial services organisations across Asia and close to half of the top 100 banks worldwide in the past 30 years. Editor of ‘Frontiers of Credit Risk’, published by John Wiley, Gordian specialises in developing and implementing analytical solutions for complex strategic issues in financial services-related industries undergoing significant change or being exposed to intricate risk issues.
  David Millar is former chief operating officer at the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, PRMIA, a trade association focused on improving financial risk management through professional membership events, training and certifications. He has worked in consultancy and with banks over his 40 years’ experience, predominantly in processes, training and risk management.

H.E Saif Al Shamshi is the assistant governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, with responsibilities over monetary policy and financial stability. He has been with the Central Bank of the UAE since 1981, and has held senior management roles in the banking operations, banking supervision and treasury departments. Prior to his 2011 appointment as assistant governor, he was the senior executive director of the central bank’s treasury department. He is a member of several committees both internationally and within the central bank itself, and his most recent publication was a 2013 BIS research paper on foreign exchange intervention by emerging market economies.

Hans Eichel is co-founder of the G20 & former Finance Minister of Germany. Is one of the longest serving finance ministers of post-war Germany. Eichel hosted the inaugural 1999 meeting of the G20 in Berlin when it was founded as a forum for dialogue for finance ministers and central bank chiefs. His time as chairman of the G20 set the agenda for reforming the international financial architecture and establishing a code of conduct on preventing financial crises. He also oversaw the introduction of the euro in Germany, and the difficult economic reforms of the Schroder-Eichel years are now vindicated by Germany's achievements as the best performing major Western economy since the 2008 financial crisis.
Gilbert Kohnke is group chief risk officer of OCBC Bank, which has been repeatedly honored as the world's strongest bank by various publications. He leads the redefinition of the bank's risk management approaches, winning The Asian Banker’s Risk Manager of the Year Award in 2013. Prior to OCBC, he was head of risk management for Asia at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and subsequently, the London-based head of European Portfolio Management.
