Mrs. Chuchi G. Fonacier, Deputy Governor of the Finanacial Supervision Sector of the Bangko Sentral ng Philipinas (BSP)
Chuchi G. Fonacier is the Deputy Governor of the Finanacial Supervision Sector of the Bangko Sentral ng Philipinas (BSP). She started her career with BSP in 1984 as a bank examiner and became assistant governor in 2017. She was designated as BSP’s point person on two important legislative measures passed by the Philippine Congress – the Securitszation Act, and the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Act. In 2008, she headed BSP’s primary supervisory unit that handles specially-challenged banks, where a record number of challenged banks were successfully resolved. As deputy governor, she is a member and BSP-designated representative in different interagency and international committees such as the Financial Sector Forum (FSF), Working Group on Banking Supervision (WGBS) of the Executives’ Meeting of East Asia Pacific Central Banks (EMEAP), and the Credit Information Corporations Project.

Natividad Alejo is the chairman of BPI Direct BanKo, Inc. (BanKo). Prior to this post, she served as president of BPI Family Savings Bank. She had also served as head of BPI’s retail clients segment group, overseeing the bank’s relationship with all retail clients, including private banking and overseas Filipino clients. As head of retail, Alejo was responsible for managing the bank’s extensive branch network. Roland is currently senior vice president, chief information security officer and head of Enterprise Security Group at Philippine National Bank. Roland was hired as IT Consultant on November 2, 2003 and became the First Vice President and Head of Network Management Division of Information Technology Group on regular basis in May 2004 prior to his present position. He was the Operational Support System Group Manager of Multi-Media Telephony, Inc. (Broadband Philippines) prior to joining PNB. He took and passed the Information Systems Audit and Control Association's (ISACA) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification and currently completing documentation for the said certification.
Ms. Margarita Lopez, FSVP and Head of Digital Banking Group, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation
Ms. Lopez is FSVP and head of digital banking group at RCBC since June 2016. She has over 30 years of experience in business operations, processes, products, brand, accounts, and technology management in the banking and insurance sectors. She was a member of the Board of Directors, corporate vice president and Asia head of digital of Manulife Financial. She was also connected in various capacities with Philippine AXA Life, Philippine National Bank, and United Coconut Planters Bank as well as multinational business consulting firms.
Mr. Alex Chan Lim, Country Manager Philippines, MoneyGram
Alex joined MoneyGram International in April 2011 as Philippines country manager. Alex leads all in-country efforts in this important remittance country and focus on managing relationships and growing MoneyGram’s network, products and market share. Alex represents MoneyGram with regulators and builds relationships within government agencies which support and manage the Overseas Filipino Workers program. In addition, he develops corridor plans aligned with send markets that tap into the global remittance market. Prior to joining MoneyGram, he was the Philippines country manager of Ausenco Asia, an energy and resources engineering firm. Likewise, he held senior management roles with Advantek, DHL and Levi Strauss involved in both the planning and development of the businesses - domestically and for the broader Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Alexander Capulong, Head of Sales, First Circle
Alexander currently serves as head of sales at First Circle. In between the day-to-day responsibilities of managing the sales team, he also provides input to the partnerships team while being deeply involved in multiple business development projects spread across different stakeholders in other business units. Mr. Albert Christian Go, Founder and Country Head of Philippines, BeamAndGo
Albert is the co-founder of BeamAndGo and serves as the country head of Philippines. He oversees the corporate strategy, business development, and marketing. He has more than 12 years of experience in financial services, technology, corporate communications and consumer marketing. Prior to BeamAndGo, Albert was the corporate citizenship programme manager at GE Money Bank and was head of corporate communications at the New Life Community Services, a non-profit organization in Singapore. Throughout his professional career, Albert has accumulated hands-on experience working with marginalized communities in the Philippines and Singapore. Front and centre of his advocacies is the empowerment of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and financial inclusion for migrant workers.
Mr. Mark Vernon, President & Founder, Tagcash
Mark is the president & founder of Tagcash Ltd, which has an Electronic Money Issuer license (EMI), issued by the BSP. He also serves the vice chairman and treasurer of Fintech Philippines Association and vice chairman of Philippine Association for Digital Commerce and Decentralized Industries. Prior to Tagcash, he has dedicated the last 30 years of his career to serial tech entrepreneurship and angel investing.
