ASTRI is building up a strong cyber security technical team for supporting Hong Kong's endeavor to become a Fintech hub in APAC. Its strategy is to develop new and advanced security technologies, applications and systems to include cloud security, encryption technologies, access control, virtual machine security, cyber-security information sharing platform, cyber-threat research and training platform.

Bank of East Asia’s growth strategy involves digitizing its entire service network and supporting the wealth management needs of their valued customers. Through these efforts, the aim is to deliver enhanced, market-leading services that match the rapidly-changing landscape of the banking industry. Located in high traffic districts and prime shopping areas, BEA’s digital branches are equipped with a suite of digital devices. BEA’s digital branch model enhances the customer experience and service delivery while reducing operational costs and installation time. To date, eight digital branches have been opened across Hong Kong.

GS1 Hong Kong, Internet of Things (IoT) Centre

Set up by GS1 Hong Kong with the support of the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR Government, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation as well as industries, technology partners and other related organizations. The Centre is an extension of the Supply Chain Innovation Centre and the Hong Kong RFID Centre set up by GS1 Hong Kong and Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation in 2007 and 2008. A unique showroom of IoT in Hong Kong, the IoT Centre shares best practices of applying IoT enabling technologies with the ultimate goals to uplift business performance, customer satisfaction and the betterment of  society. The IoT Centre has received tremendous positive feedback and support from the industry.

NEST - DBS Accelerator

Powered by NEST, the accelerator is a unique programme run by a full-time, dedicated team. Selected startups are given a chance to come to Hong Kong to accelerate their FinTech businesses. The startups are receiving mentorship from specialists in banking, technology and leading industry experts aside startups are also given a dedicated workspace in Wanchai, a state of the art co-working space well served by transport links and 24/7 secure access.

The SuperCharger FinTech Accelerator Programme is a partnership between Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, one of Hong Kong’s three note-issuing banks; together with technology giant, Baidu, which dominates China’s internet search engine market; as well as technology and innovation hub, TusPark Global Network, which has successfully incubated 19 publicly-listed companies have announced their 8 Finalist out of over 160 applicants from 20+ countries.  The programme has been structured to uniquely include early and late stage start-ups to encourage them to learn from each other and cross-fertilize through the exchange of ideas and the potential of partnership.
