Akshaya Gaur
Former CIO, Mashreq Bank

Akshaya was the Chief Information Officer of Mashreq Bank and the CEO of Mindscape IT from 2013 till 2015. He successfully delivered Mashreq Bank’s strategic agenda of creating a culture of innovation with a focus on mobility, cloud, big data, infrastructure, social, customer solutions and straight-through processing. Prior to this Akshaya worked with Standard Chartered Bank for 23 years in various senior leadership roles covering the UK, Africa and Asia. Currently, he running Aayan, an independent Advisory service in the Banking Technology space and operates as an advisor to an Indian IT Major as well as to young start-up companies in India.
