The Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines or BMAP is a non-stock, non-profit organization of banking institutions which seek to upgrade the practice of bank marketing in the country. BMAP was organized on February 27, 1974 and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 19, 1974. It has grown into a membership of about 40 institutions in forty three (43) years. The Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) is an industry association presently composed of fifteen local and foreign member banks in the Philippines doing business in credit card issuance and acquiring. Its main purpose is to promote ownership and usage of credit cards in the Philippines. This includes representing the industry in various engagements with government regulators, media, other business organizations and the general public.
