Brearley has spent 45 years in consulting and senior management positions in financial services world-wide, including 18 years as a CIO. In 1988 he was appointed the first Group Head (CIO) of Standard Chartered Bank. Mr. Chin Wei Min, Executive Director, Malaysia Securities Commission(SC)
He leads the Innovation and Digital Strategy division, and also oversees the data management, strategy and risk departments. SC became the first country in ASEAN to introduce a regulatory framework to facilitate equity crowdfunding (ECF), with six registered operators full operational in 2016. SC also announced the regulatory framework for peer-to-peer (P2P) financing, setting out the requirements for registration for P2P platform. Wei Min was formerly the Asia Pacific Managing Director for the Capital Market industry at Accenture. With more than 20 years of industry experience in the financial services sector, particularly in the emerging technology and digital domain, Wei Min led some of the recent digital transformation initiatives at some of the financial institutions including digital blueprint for one of the largest brokers in ASEAN.

Kah Meng pioneered peer-to-peer (P2P) financing in Malaysia by setting up and launching Funding Societies’ operations in Malaysia, being the first P2P financing platform locally. Prior to Funding Societies, Kah Meng specialized in strategy and risk management and worked across Southeast Asia (including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan), Australia and the Middle East. Previously based in Singapore, Kah Meng worked for the leading management consulting firm specializing in financial services, Oliver Wyman, where he counseled senior management of leading banks, regulators, and wealth managers. Kah Meng is a CFA charter holder and holds a double degree in Finance and Actuarial Studies. Kah Meng graduated top of his class with 1st class honours from the Australian National University.

Ms Jessica Chew is Deputy Governor at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) since 2018. Prior to that, Ms Chew served as Assistant Governor for the Regulation Sector at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). Ms. Chew joined BNM in 1993 and worked in various capacities in the formulation of prudential and strategic policies for the banking and insurance sectors. She was involved in the preparation of the Financial Sector Master plan and the formulation of financial sector liberalization strategies as part of the WTO and Free Trade negotiations. She was also involved in the establishment of the deposit insurance system in Malaysia and formulation of human capital development strategies for the financial sector. She has over 20 years of experience in financial sector regulation and supervision. Her experience also includes audits of insurance companies, formulation of prudential and market conduct policies for banks and insurance companies and macro-financial surveillance. She is responsible for development policies in the banking and insurance sectors, which among others, focused on efficiency, innovation, market institutions and structures, development finance and talent development.
