At Mozilla, Ayden Férdeline researches the ongoing development and harmonization of global privacy standards. He is working to develop an ambitious new toolkit for effectively operationalizing privacy protections online, identifying appropriate regulatory interventions that could incentivize data controllers to adopt higher privacy protections. Elissar Toufaily is an associate professor of marketing at American University, Dubai and is a visiting professor at the graduate school of Université Laval in Quebec- Canada.
