The role of social media in retail banking Some banks now offer support services through Twitter, and other banks increasingly leverage Facebook as an engagement tool. Banks that know the ROI of different investments will be able to significantly improve the profitability of social and online advertising by focusing spend where it is most effective.
Role of analytics in re-shaping products and services Banks and retailers are spending a great deal of time on collaborating and integrating data for centralised operations analysis. While some leading banks respond to the emerging trends by rapidly testing new ideas with a small set of customers and branches, major retailers have successful experience on keeping customers and market their products, what can retail banks learn from them and apply in banking services.
Leveraging customer needs in a multi-channel world Banks actively promote a 360-degree view of customer information to market to different customers. More services delivery channels have been using, branch staffing levels and operating hours also need to evolve with increased non-branch banking. What is the best practice to maintain the customers’ relationship with the bank across different channels?
