The Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines or BMAP is a non-stock, non-profit organization of banking institutions which seek to upgrade the practice of bank marketing in the country. BMAP was organized on February 27, 1974 and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 19, 1974. It has grown into a membership of about 48 institutions in forty (40) years. BMAP is committed to the development of its members while acting as the voice of the banking industry on matters concerning bank marketing communication and customer interests.

The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) is the umbrella organization of thrift banks in the Philippines and today has 55 member-banks with over 1,800 branches nationwide. Total assets of Thrift Banks in the country represent about 8% of the entire Philippine banking industry, with a loan volume of around 11%. The industry serves over 5.6 million depositors. CTB continues to pursue its mandate of coordinating the efforts of its member thrift banks as they continue to contribute to the country’s economic development. It supports its members by ensuring that its various concerns are brought to the attention of the right government institution or regulating body, particularly the BSP and ensure a manageable, if not better, operating environment for thrift banks.
